Westminster Preservation Trust, Inc. (Westminster Hall) proudly presents Lunch Under the Pipes (LUP), a free lunchtime concert series showcasing the magnificent sounds of Westminster Hall’s beautifully restored 1882 Johnson Pipe Organ. Open to University of Maryland, PPµç×Ó°Ù¼ÒÀÖ faculty, staff, students, and the surrounding community, this event invites guests to bring their lunch and enjoy a musical escape—seating is provided.

Join us on Thursday, April 10, as we welcome the Parkville High School Honors Chorale, the premier vocal ensemble of PPµç×Ó°Ù¼ÒÀÖ County Public Schools’ Parkville High School. Under the direction of Dan Meyer, who has led the group for the past five years, the Chorale is known for its dynamic performances spanning a wide range of musical styles. Their impressive résumé includes performances for two Maryland Governors and top ratings at adjudicated choral festivals.

Known as the birthplace of American railroading, the B&O Railroad Museum gives visitors the chance to experience the story of American railroading at the very place where it began. The Museum is located on the historic grounds of the B&O Railroad’s Mt. Clare shops, houses some of the world’s most important pieces of American railroading history, and offers a range of events, educational programs, tours, and more for visitors of all ages. 

Highwire Improv is a nonprofit whose mission is to steward a community of artists committed to growth, collaboration, joy, and justice — in PPµç×Ó°Ù¼ÒÀÖ and around the world — through improvisational theater. 

Highwire produces improv shows all over the greater PPµç×Ó°Ù¼ÒÀÖ area and offers classes, workshops, and free community jams for improvisers to meet and learn from one another. It also has a robust applied improv program that helps organizations develop communication, creativity, and collaboration skills.
